What would you guys pay for my car? I'm curious. 1981 Trans Am Special Edition Turbo turned into a 1978 Special Edition with a 400. You guys know the rest about the car. I'm thinking 15,000 after pin striping and some other minor work.

I'll trade you a Volvo S80

It seems those Trans Ams are spiking, at least in the past 2-3 years since they don't need emissions done and qualify for classic car insurance and collector's plates and such.
After pin striping, maybe $7k-$10k

New paint, and it's turned into something more attractive than it was born...$8k is a number that comes out at me.

Well there's a 1978 in white with an early 70s 400 going for $17'000 here so somewhere around that if it had all the decals on it and such. This is in the UK though so I assume they go higher here due to them having to be imported.

I don't know much about the market for these cars, but I would guess $8-10k

I would say in the $10-11k range. It would be a hard sell where I live though, because the Portland (OR) metro area has to emission test all cars post 75. A nice 75 corvette can go for $15k here, same condition 76 - $6k because it has to pass emissions.

9-10k since it's not an original but still such a fantastic car

At the end of the day its worth whatever someones willing to pay for it. I don't mean put it on CL for 50k but there are people out there willing to pay more than what a classics "worth" for one

Haha, emissions testing... this car would fail epically. I've made sure every smog equipment piece on the car I could find has been removed.
